Harvest Moon Otaku is the product of the merger of a lot of Harvest Moon fan sites and it shows. Professional looking, comprehensive in the information they present, they have a lot of fun features like very active discussion forums and even an online RPG. You could spend your whole life at this site, I kid you not.
Harvest Moon Farms is unfortunately an example of what happens to a one person hobby site when it gets too good and too popular. They go off line a lot. They restrict access to high bandwidth material. It's a nostalgia trip for me - HM Farms is where I first encountered HM fan fiction. They have a nice collection of it, along with fan art, but they rarely update. It's a crying shame.
